Crème Brûlée is a classic French dessert known for its smooth, creamy custard base and a crisp, caramelized sugar top.

Ingredients:
- 750 ml liquid cream
- 250 ml fresh milk
- 150 g granulated sugar
- 100 g brown sugar
- 5 vanilla pods
- 11 eggs (10 egg yolks + 1 whole egg)
Instructions:
- Separate the 10 egg yolks from the whites and set aside.
- In a saucepan, boil the milk with the vanilla pods. Once the milk has boiled, remove the vanilla pods.
- Grate the vanilla pods finely and return the grated pods to the hot milk.
- In a bowl, whisk together the 10 egg yolks, 1 whole egg, and the granulated sugar until smooth.
- Gradually add the hot milk and vanilla mixture to the egg and sugar mixture. Stir in the liquid cream.
- Pour the mixture into individual ramekins.
- Bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 140°F (60°C) .
- In the last 10 minutes of baking, sprinkle brown sugar on top of each ramekin and place the ramekins under the grill for about 10 minutes to caramelize the sugar and form a nice brown crust.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
Your Crème Brûlée is ready to be served with a beautifully caramelized sugar crust!
