Creamy double-garlic mashed potatoes are a delightful twist on a classic side dish. The perfect combination of buttery richness and garlicky goodness makes these mashed potatoes a hit for any meal. Here’s a simple recipe to create this comforting dish.

Creamy Double-Garlic Mashed Potatoes Ingredients
2 pounds of Yukon Gold potatoes,
6 cloves of garlic, peeled,
½ cup of unsalted butter,
1 cup of heavy cream,
Salt, to taste,
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste,
Chives or parsley, for garnish (optional).

Preparation
Prepare the Potatoes: Pell potatoes and cutting them into even chunks. This ensures that they cook uniformly.

Boil the Potatoes. Place the potato chunks and peeled garlic cloves into a large pot. Cover them with cold water and add a generous pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.

Drain and Steam. Once the potatoes and garlic are cooked, drain them in a colander. Allow them to steam for a few minutes to remove excess moisture.

Mash the Potatoes. In a large mixing bowl, add the hot potatoes and garlic. Begin mashing them using a potato masher or ricer for an ultra-smooth texture.

Add Cream and Butter. In a small saucepan, gently heat the heavy cream and butter until the butter is melted and the mixture is warmed. Pour this over the mashed potatoes and garlic.

Stir everything together until creamy and smooth. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Garnish and Serve. If desired, garnish with chopped chives or parsley for added color.

These creamy double-garlic mashed potatoes make an excellent accompaniment to roasted meats, poultry, or vegetarian dishes. Their rich flavor and creamy texture will surely elevate any meal.
