Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp paprika
- 1 green or red pepper, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 (12 oz) cans of whole tomatoes
- 2–3 lbs chicken or chicken parts
- 2 Tbsp lard
- 1–2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 Tbsp flour
Instructions:
- In a large skillet, heat the lard over medium heat. Add the paprika and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the onions and peppers, and sauté for a few minutes more.
- Add the chicken, tomatoes, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
- In a small bowl, mix the sour cream with the flour.
- Take a few tablespoons of liquid from the pot and slowly add it to the sour cream mixture, stirring constantly to prevent curdling.
- Gradually add the sour cream mixture back into the pot. Stir well, heat through, and serve over dumplings.
