Soft chicken rolls filled with cheese and bacon. Crispy outside and creamy inside. A quick and yummy meal for any day.

For 4 persons you need:

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 5 oz (150 g) hard cheese
  • 3.5 oz (100 g) bacon
  • Mustard
  • Salt

Instructions:

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into thin slices (like schnitzels). Pound them gently with a meat mallet. Salt them and let rest a little.
  2. Take one slice, spread a little mustard in the middle. Put thin strips of bacon and cheese on top.
  3. Roll the chicken slice tightly and use a needle and thread to tie it so it stays closed.
  4. Dip each roll in beaten egg, then in flour, again in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.
  5. Place all rolls on a plate. Heat oil in a pan and fry all the rolls together. Turn them a few times to cook evenly on all sides for about 7-10 minutes.
  6. While frying, prepare the sauce: mix 1 cup sour cream, 1 small (about 3.5 oz / 100 g) thick mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon mustard, 3 chopped pickles, a little oregano, and a pinch of paprika. Mix well.
  7. After frying, carefully cut and remove the thread from the rolls, then pour the sauce over them.
