Baked spaghetti is a delicious dish that’s perfect for any occasion. It combines spaghetti with a creamy sauce made from mushrooms, clams, and shrimp. A touch of brandy adds extra flavor, and melted cheese on top makes it irresistible.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g spaghetti (or more, as desired)
  • 150 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 100-150 g clam meat
  • 100-150 g medium-sized shrimp
  • 200 ml neutral cream
  • A bit of mint and seasoning
  • 50 g Edam cheese
  • 50 g Trappist cheese
  • 30 ml (1 shot glass) brandy

Preparation:

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, heat a bit of olive oil in a large, deep skillet. Add the mushrooms and sauté until they soften.
  3. Add the clam meat and shrimp, cooking until the liquid evaporates.
  4. Pour in the brandy, let it almost completely evaporate, and then add the cream. Season with salt and spices to taste.
  5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, add it to the skillet and mix it well with the sauce.
  6. Transfer the spaghetti and sauce mixture into a greased ovenproof dish. Sprinkle grated Edam and Trappist cheese over the top.
  7. Bake in the oven until the cheese melts and turns golden.
  8. Serve hot.
