This recipe that I want to share is prepared quickly and easily, and the result will not leave anyone indifferent.
Christmas orange cake ingredients for the dough: 4 eggs, 4 tablespoons of flour, 4 tablespoons of sugar, a tablespoon of oil, a little grated orange peel.
For the filling: 3 oranges, 1 cup of sugar, a bag of gelatin.
Christmas orange cake preparation:
Beat the eggs with sugar with a mixer, and when they are foamy, add flour, a spoonful of oil and a little grated orange peel. Pour two-thirds of the mass into a well-coated and floured cake mold, and transfer the remaining third into a greased small square mold, then bake everything together in an oven heated to 380 degrees Fahrenheit. When both crusts are baked, let them cool down a bit. During this time, cook a thick syrup of 1 cup of sugar and a glass of water, put the well-washed oranges cut into rings together with the peel and cook until the mass begins to thicken. Pour 4 spoons of cold water over the gelatin, and when it thickens, transfer it to the cooked syrup removed from the stove. Pour over the round cake in the mold, and arrange the decorations cut from the dough made in the square pan on top.
