Cherry cake

CHERRY CAKE INGREDIENTS • Three eggs, • 120 g sugar, • 80 g ground almonds, • Three pieces sponge cake or Italian Biscuit • 500 g cherries, • 6 tablespoons sugar, • 200 ml sour cream.

Cherry cake Method

Combine cherries and 2 tablespoons of sugar in a saucepan. Cook at a moderate temperature until the cherries are soft. Strain the cherries and save the juice. Line a round bowl with baking paper and coat it with butter. Arrange cherries without juice on the bottom of the bowl. Separate egg whites from the egg yolks. Then add 2 tablespoons in a separate bowl sugar with the egg yolks with the 3 pieces of sponge cake or Italian Biscuit. After that whisk the egg whites until they are fluffy. Then combine it with the egg yolk mixture. Pour over the cherries and bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius or 325 Fahrenheit for about 45 minutes. Cool the baked cake, then take it out of the mold and turn it over exactly for serving so that the cherries are on top. Then whip the sweet sour cream to solidify and coat the cake with it. Decorate the cake with almonds and serve. ENJOY!!!
