Chocolate Hazelnut Cake
Ingredients: for the dough – 1.5 cups flour, 0.75 cups
sugar, 100 g butter or margarine, 1 cup
milk, 4 proteins, 50 g breadcrumbs, 50 g chocolate, 1
vanilla sachet, 2 tablespoons chopped nuts, 2
teaspoons of baking powder; for cream – 50 g
chocolate, 1 tablespoon butter, 0.25 cup
water, 0.25 cup coarsely chopped nuts, 1 teaspoon
vanilla sugar, 3 yolks, 3 tablespoons of sugar.
Chocolate Hazelnut Cake Cooking method
Beat butter with sugar until white, gradually add flour,
mixed with baking powder and vanillin, and milk. (At first
add a little flour with baking powder and vanilla, then
pour in some of the milk, then again the flour, and so on until the end.) Knead
dough. Whip the egg whites and carefully add to the prepared
dough. Divide the dough into two equal parts.
Put one part of the dough in a detachable form, greased
butter and sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Sprinkle the dough with chopped nuts
and grated chocolate. Put the rest of the dough on top, put in
oven. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 200-225°C.
Prepare cream. Pour sugar into a small bowl, add
pieces of chocolate, stir, pour in hot water, stir,
put on low heat, stirring all the time. When chocolate
melted and the sugar dissolves, add the butter and remove the dishes from
fire. Place three egg yolks in a small bowl, stir and
gradually pour very carefully into the slightly cooled, but hot
prepared mass of chocolate and sugar, whisking all the time.
Continue whisking until the cream has cooled. Then add
vanilla sugar, pour over warm cake, level and sprinkle
