Chilled Christmas Punch

This Chilled Christmas Punch is always a huge hit for holiday parties!

Chilled Christmas Punch
YIELD: 3 3/4 QUARTS
PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES
COOK TIME: 5 MINUTES

Ingredients:
2 cups water
3/4 cup granulated white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
One 46-ounce can pineapple juice, chilled
4 cups cran-apple juice, chilled
1 liter ginger ale, chilled
Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, bring the water, sugar and
    cinnamon to a boil; stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Chill.
  2. Just before serving, combine the syrup mixture,
    juice and ginger ale in a punch bowl or large
    pitcher. Serve over ice.

Festive Cherry Punch

Kirschpunsch im Glas

Bowl ’em over with this party beverage.

4 cups cherry juice blend, chilled,

1 (l-liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled,,

Ice ring

Just before serving, combine cherry juice blend and ginger ale in a large punch bowl. Add ice ring.

Decorative Ice Ring Place a ring mold or other decorative mold in freezer; let chill. Rinse inside of mold withcold water; return to freezer until thin coating of ice forms. Cover the bottom of the mold in a decorative pattern with maraschino cherries. Gently add enough cherry juice blend to just cover fruit. Freeze until firm. Gently add morecherry juice blend to fill mold completely. Freeze overnight, or until firm.
