HOMEMADE ORANGE LEMONADE
How to make homemade orange lemonade? Prepare everything you need for this. For the lemonade itself, only one orange is needed. But if you want to add a few slices to a decanter or glasses, keep another one in stock. For lemonade, choose a larger orange. It weighs 280 grams for me. Rinse it thoroughly and pour over boiling water.
STEP 2:
Step 2. Place the orange in the freezer for 2-3 hours to freeze. Then take it out and let it warm at room temperature so that it can be easily sliced. Why freeze an orange? After defrosting, there will be more juice from it and the bitterness that happens from the peel will go away.
STEP 3:
Step 3. Cut the thawed orange into pieces, remove the seeds and place in the bowl of the chopper.
STEP 4:
Step 4. Grind the orange until fine. It is not necessary to grind to a state of mashed potatoes.
STEP 5:
Step 5. Put the chopped orange in a saucepan and pour in 500 ml of water. Stir and leave to stand for 30-40 minutes to steep.
STEP 6:
Step 6. Then strain the drink through a fine sieve. Add another 1.5 liters of water, sugar and citric acid to the strained drink. Stir everything well until the sugar dissolves and put the drink in the refrigerator to infuse and cool. By the amount of sugar, be guided by your taste and the sweetness of the orange itself.
STEP 7:
Step 7. Add a few ice cubes to the glass of your drink for quick cooling. Such a drink is stored for 24 hours at room temperature. But he drinks much faster. Enjoy your meal!
Instead of citric acid, you can add a little lemon juice.

To make the sugar dissolve faster, you can first add it to a small amount of warm water, stir it and then add it to the drink with the remaining amount of water.

You can use a sweetener instead of sugar.

For cooking, it is better to use filtered or bottled water that is neutral in taste. If you use tap water, keep in mind that it can give the dish an unpleasant characteristic flavor.
