Pesto “Genovese”

This sauce is prepared without cooking and is ideal for flavoring any type of pasta. A moderate amount should be used, spaghetti / pasta should not “float” in the sauce.
Products: 2 cups freshly chopped basil leaves
2 cloves garlic
1/4 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan or yellow cheese (harder)
2 tablespoons roasted pine nuts
Method of preparation: Grind the basil and garlic using a food processor.
Gradually, while stirring, add the olive oil.
Finally, pour the cheese and nuts.
