Christmas Cake Recipe
MATERIAL;

4 glasses of flour
4 tablespoons of melted butter (1 tea glass of oil)
1 tea glass of milk
1/2 (half) tea glass of granulated sugar
1 egg
1 packet of dry yeast
6 cloves (to be pounded in a mortar)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
A pinch of salt
MATERIAL;

1 tea glass of raisins
1 coffee cup of currants
Zest of 1 orange
The juice of 1 orange
1 cup of almonds
6 pieces of almond paste (sold in confectioners)
3 dried apricots
FOR THE ABOVE;

1 tablespoon of butter
1 cup of powdered sugar

Add sugar and yeast into warm milk and wait for 15 minutes.
Add other ingredients and get dough that does not stick to the hand. (You can add water or flour as the flour brand and glass size are different)
Cover it with cling film and leave it in a warm place for 2 hours to ferment.
Chop the apricots into dice.
Take the orange juice and peel into a bowl and add the apricots and grapes to soften.
Chop the almonds with a knife. It should be coarse.
Sprinkle the dough clean on the counter and roll out with your hands at a thickness of 1.5 cm.
Strain the dried fruits waiting in orange juice in the middle, take them with almonds and pack the dough.
Then knead the dough.
Roll out the baking paper lined tray by hand in a rectangular shape.
It will be finger thick.
Soften it with your hand in the middle and spread the marzipan in the shape of a cylinder.
Cover the other end on it. Join and tighten the ends. Large donut view.
Preheat the oven to 50 degrees. Put the tray in it. After 15 minutes, adjust the setting to 170 degrees and cook for 25-30 minutes until the top is browned.
Check the cooking inside with a knife. If the inside is soft, that is, the knife is dirty, you can lower the oven temperature to 150 degrees and bake for 15 minutes.
Take out the tray and apply butter on it.
Sift it immediately and sprinkle the powdered sugar everywhere.
Do not serve immediately after cooling.
If possible, it should be consumed by cutting thin slices the next day.
It has the consistency of a hard and fruity fragrant bread.
If you wrap it in a cool place in an airtight manner, you can keep it for a long time.
