Somon la cuptor, cu legume si sos de vin, pentru o cina rapida

If we’re eating fresh rather than frozen we tend to buy rainbow trout. It’s delicious and way cheaper than salmon, and it’s pink!

Fishfingers like Issi suggested. I like to whizz up some basil leaves and lemon zest with the breadcrumbs, yum. Then I bake them 190 for about 20mins. My DD1 hates ordinary fishfingers but really likes homemade ones.

You could also make a creamy salmon pasta. Onion, garlic, veg of your choice, herbs, cream and salmon. You can thin the cream with milk or stock, or mix in some cream cheese.

Sometimes I make a fish pie mixture but then serve it on rice instead. My kids are weird and don’t like mashed potato so the rice works better for us.
Or another fish pie idea if you have leftover baked potatoes: slice the top off the baked potato (lengthwise) and scoop out the potato, leaving a layer on the skin inside. Then fill with cooked fish pie mixture. Mash the scooped out potato with a bit of milk and pile it on top. Top with grated cheese if you want and then pop in the oven or under the grill until golden.
