We made dandelion doughnuts for pudding today. Lots of fun and, while not amazing, certainly not disgusting either. Quite fun and the kids were fascinated. My non veg eating kids both tried one.
Pick dandelions, remove stalks, wash and pat dry.
Make batter (we did cup milk, egg – whisk, add cup of flour).
We fried some of them in oil and dry fried some others. The dry ones ended up as pancakes with flowers in the middle. The oily ones worked better.
Then we dipped in a mix of sugar and cinnamon. Pretty fun.
