Fried Garlic Potatoes ingredients:
2 kg of potatoes, cleaned,
chopped into thin leaves and well salted;
2-3 dl of oil;
3-4 cloves of garlic.
Preparation
Pour the oil into a deep pan and heat well over high heat. Gently lower all the potatoes at once and cover the pan tightly immediately. After 20 minutes, slowly turn the potato over with a spatula, separating it from the bottom (stir the one from above so that it reaches the bottom). Cover again and do not open for another 20 minutes. Remove from heat and add finely chopped garlic (can also be pureed). Serve warm. P.S. Smoked bacon and grated cheese can be added to all this

Curry potatoes
You will need: – 6 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and cut into slices or slightly larger cubes – 1 cup of peas – 1 carrot, cut into rings – 1 chopped stalk of celery (optional) – 1 onion, finely chopped – 1-2 teaspoons of curry – oil – 1 teaspoon of flour – parsley for sprinkling Fry onions and carrots (and celery, if desired) in oil, add curry, mix, then add a teaspoon of flour, then mix well. Immediately add the prepared potatoes and water, enough so that the potatoes are soaked in it. Add the peas, salt to taste and let it cook for about 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are cooked. At the end, add finely chopped parsley.
