Almond and orange cake

Almond and orange cake required ingredients:

375 g of sugar,

2.5 dl of orange juice,

3 oranges with a thin peel,

3 eggs,

1 teaspoon of baking powder,

225 g of ground almonds, –
25 g of flour,

a piece of butter for the model,

sugar in powder for decoration

Way of preparation: Put orange juice and 150 g of sugar to a boil and cook over low heat for 8 minutes to get syrup. Add orange pieces to it and cook for another 10 minutes. Then take the orange pieces out of the syrup, place them on a wire rack to drain. Puree half in a mixer.
Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a 20 cm diameter cake tin with butter and line it with parchment paper.
Mix eggs and 225 g of sugar until foamy, add baking powder, almonds and flour and mix everything gently. At the end, we add pureed oranges. Pour the mixture into the mold and bake for 60 minutes, that is, so long that the toothpick used to taste it remains dry.
Leave the baked cake for 10 minutes to cool down a bit. Then we take it out of the model, remove the paper. Decorate the cake with orange slices and sprinkle with powdered sugar. source internet
