2 Most Popular Indian Dishes-

Indian Vegetable Korma. This is a famous dish of Indian vegetarian cuisine.

Preparation

1. Cut half a kilogram of potatoes and a bunch of carrots into cubes, separate a head of cauliflower into florets, boil the sliced green beans and peas (about half a kilogram) in slightly salted water, but not completely, and drain.

2. Cut two onions and 300 grams of champignons into strips and fry them in a tablespoon of oil.

3. Add cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, cumin, cardamom, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chili paste and cashew paste to the heated oil and heat briefly in the oil.

4. Add the yogurt and boil briefly over low heat while stirring.

5. Add boiled vegetables, stewed mushrooms, salt and pepper to the sauce. Cover and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. Fry the cashews and raisins in a tablespoon of oil.

Serve sprinkled with cashews and raisins.

 

2 Most Popular Indian Dishes – Gajar Halwa (Carrot Halwa)


This is a famous Indian delicacy.

Preparation

1. Add a kilogram of grated carrot to the milk and let it boil.

2. Cook over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is almost dry.

3. Add powdered sugar, brown sugar and half of the cardamom, and cook for 10 minutes, stirring, over low heat.

4. Fry almonds in heated butter, mix in carrot, raisins, walnuts, ground spices and boil.

Serve warm, garnished with the remaining cardamom.
